Cat contemplating the printer’s consternation

I can utter expletives all I like, but our resident imperial presence loves my press. There’s a reason that some fine press printers ban the likes of cats and dogs from their workshops and studios. All that cat hair flying around can land on the type, and once the drum rolls over it, the hair leaves a thin indent in the soft lead type, which appear in print as hairlines. Between my dog, Sneak and the cat, Tennyson, shown above, it’s a wonder any of my type is spared.
