Vaulted Heights (2010 series)
Once again drawn from an image taken during our epic month-long exploration of England in 2008. Bradford-on-Avon was the last time I would any bliss for a week or ten days, as I nursed a cold I must have picked up on the flight over. However, I was determined not to let it ruin my trip, and my only memories of Salisbury Cathedral are vaulted ceilings that seemed to rise to heaven, and a very good cafeteria nestled under glass beneath the great walls. In cutting this block, I cut away the ceiling entirely in the hopes it would seem to go on forever. I’m pleased with the result.
